Cluster Stretch

x6 x10 stretch cluster machine

The machine “clusters” multipacks of bottles into a secondary package.
The primary x2 bottles multipacks, called Bi-packs, are obtained by grouping the bottles with a printed Stretch Sleeve made of elastic LDPE (low density polyethylene).
After the realisation of the Bi-Packs in the first phase, a second elastic Stretch Sleeve is applied on the x2 packs, grouping them to a Cluster pack for the palletisation.
The two applications (first and second sleeve ) are made in the same machine, where no glue or heat shrink are required.
The machine can be configured in various versions, depending on the production speed required

Multipacking and Clustering machine model MC 2+1, suitable for up to 19.000 bph,  where the x2 packs are made by 2 heads in series and the 2+2 cluster packs are made by n°1 head following the first two (see sketch 2+1)
Multipacking and Clustering machine model MC 3+2 , suitable for up to 29.000 bph, where the x2 packs are made by 3 heads in series and the 2+2 cluster packs are made by 2 heads following the first three (see sketch 3+2)

  • The clusters are made of polyethylene, a completely recyclable material.
  • Compact and integrated machine between sleever and handle applicator
  • Energy saving due to the absence of a shrink tunnel
  • There is no need for glue or use of heat and therefore reduced use of energy
  • Full compatibility in terms of recycling, easy separation of the label from the container
  • High resistance to chemical agents
  • Resistance to exposure to UV radiation
  • Suitable for clustering of packages x8, x10 etc
  • No risk of cluster sleeve adhesion on the M-pack “

Possibility of integrating the handle applicator.
