Comag Handle Applicators apply self-adhesive handles on shrink-wrapped multipacks at a maximum speed of 100 cpm, but they can also double the production when working on a double lane.
Our Handle Applying Machines have a single, extremely robust stainless steel structure, which incorporates the application head and the conveyor belts in the area where the handles are applied. The safety guards and the electrical panel are integrated into the machine structure.
The Handle Applying Machines can apply the handles on a wide range of products: paper rolls, bottles, briks, cans, boxes, shrink-wrapped packs etc.

“HM” series, entirely mechanical functioning activated by cams and particularly recommended for high speed production lines (100cpm) with a restricted number of formats. The mechanical functioning permits the application of handles at a speed not achievable with the traditional electro-pneumatic systems, guaranteeing the maximum reliability and at the same time extreme simplicity of usage.
The applicator heads can be raised or lowered with respect to the machine level, depending on the different heights of the formats to be run. This operation can normally be carried out by acting on the 4 adjustable attachment points of the applicator heads. The option allows, as an alternative to the standard configuration, rapid adjustment by means of a crank with a revolution counter.

MOTORISED DEVICE FOR HANDLE ARC FORMATION – To apply the handle on cardboard and / or shrink-wrapped bottle packs with front side leading composed of an even number of bottles, (eg 2-4-6) it is necessary to position the handle between the necks of the bottles, and not in correspondence to the caps. This requires a device that develops an easy-to-grip handle arc for the end customer.
EXTERNAL HANDLE FEEDER UNIT – with the capacity of feeding up to 5.000 handles complete of a double-reel holder for the adhesive tape. The external unit can also be installed at a distance from the Handle Machine to move the loading operations of the consumables with respect to the in-line positioning of the machine.
